Welcome to our Virtual Shadowing Series, a program led by an exceptional group of physician assistants and physicians who are highly established in their respective fields. Each bringing years of experience, leadership, and expertise to their specialty. These providers are not only outstanding clinicians, but also mentors who are deeply invested in education and professional development.

Why should you choose virtual shadowing?
This series is designed to give you meaningful exposure to both PAs and physicians, allowing you to better understand the similarities and differences in training, scope of practice, and day-to-day responsibilities across specialties. These experiences can be thoughtfully reflected upon in your CASPA experiences, personal statement, and supplemental applications, helping you articulate why you are pursuing the PA profession and how your interests have evolved.
While virtual shadowing is a valuable learning tool, I continue to strongly encourage in-person, inpatient shadowing whenever possible, as there is no true substitute for direct patient care exposure.
Please note:
Participation in this series does not include letters of recommendation. Participants who complete the series will be rewarded with a certificate of completion.
If you are unable to attend a session live, recordings will be available so you can watch at a later time and still receive credit.
We offer virtual shadowing experiences only—no in-person shadowing is provided through this program.
Please note that dates and times are subject to change based on provider availability and patient needs. If you cannot make the live recording I will send you the recording.
How Virtual Shadowing Works
1. Choose Your Sessions
Select from our experienced PA and physician providers based on their specialty and scheduled date. Each session offers unique insights into different areas of healthcare.
2. Complete the Registration Form
Fill out the form below with your contact information and select your preferred shadowing session. Make sure to use an email you check regularly—this is where we'll send all important updates.
3. Submit Your Payment
After completing the form, scan the QR code for your chosen payment method to submit your payment securely. Payment confirms your spot in the session.
4. Confirm Your Payment
Check the confirmation box on the form to let us know your payment is complete. This ensures we can process your registration right away.
5. Receive Your Session Link
We'll email you the virtual shadowing link at least a week prior to your session. Watch for this email and add the date to your calendar so you don't miss it!
6. Join Live or Watch the Recording
Can't make it live? No problem. All registered students receive access to the session recording, so you won't miss out on the valuable learning experience.
